Juventus will throw the proverbial kitchen sink at Liverpool in order to sign Emre Can this month, according to general director Giuseppe Marotta.
The 24-year-old midfielder is out of contract at Anfield this summer and is now in a position where he can sign a pre-contract agreement with clubs around Europe.
Discussions surrounding his current contract, however, have reached an impasse and the Germany international has revealed he had not yet made a decision on his future.

'I can say we will try all we can to get the player,' the Serie A champions' chief said
He has been heavily linked with the reigning Serie A champions and Marotta confirmed the club would do everything possible to land his signature.
'Emre Can is a player whose contract is running down, so it allows us to approach him for negotiations and that is the course we have taken,' Marotta told Sky Sport Italia on Wednesday.
'I can't say if he could sign a new contract with Liverpool, but I can say we will try all we can to get the player.
'Obviously, we have to respect what the player wants.'
Can has clarified that he is keeping all his options open and is continuing to talk to Liverpool
Contrary to reports in Italy that he had already agreed terms with Juve, however, Can clarified that he is keeping all his options open and is continuing to talk to Liverpool.
‘My agent is looking after everything but I am here until the summer,’ said Can. ‘I haven’t signed anything (with Juventus) or anyone. I am talking with everyone. Of course I am talking with Liverpool. Why not? I still have a contract here. It is an amazing club.
‘What can I say? My agent does the rest. I just concentrate on the scene, on my performance and the football. I will give everything for this team.’
