Cristiano Ronaldo feels betrayed by Real Madrid, with his long term future at the Bernabeu uncertain.
The 32-year-old had been promised a new contract by president Florentino Perez after his barnstorming performance in last year's Champions League final win over Juventus.
Ronaldo - who has 16 goals this season - argues that talks have failed to progress and he is understood to be considering life away from Real.

Manchester United would represent a romantic proposition for Ronaldo, although it is unknown whether they would be willing to commit the astronomical figures required to re-sign him.
He has been unhappy since lifting a fourth Champions League title, believing Real did not back him sufficiently in July amid a tax fraud case.
Paris Saint-Germain would likely show interest in the Portuguese's signature, although his contract does not expire until 2021.
At United, Ronaldo won three Premier League titles, the FA Cup, two League Cups and the Champions League, scoring 118 goals in 292 matches before departing for a world-record fee of £80million.

His achievements in Spain have been even more phenomenal, with 422 goals in 418 matches for Real.
This has translated into two league titles, two Spanish cups and the Champions League crown in 2014, 2016 and 2017.
He has also won three of the last four Ballon d'Or awards, bringing him level with Lionel Messi of Barcelona on five wins each.
Although Ronaldo earns in the region of £365,000 per week at Real, he trails the likes of Messi at Barcelona and Neymar at PSG by some distance.
