Most people take their beloved other halves to Paris - the city of love - but Jesse Lingard has made the trip with team-mate Marcus Rashford.

In another sign of their bromance, the Manchester United duo travelled to France after being given the weekend off following their 2-0 win over Derby.

Lingard's hot streak in front of goal continued as the creative winger opened the scoring before Romelu Lukaku added a second to seal the FA Cup third round tie.

Both Lingard and Rashford could get another stamp in their passport next week as United will travel to Dubai on Monday if Stoke's tie with Coventry doesn't go to a replay.

United are scheduled to face Stoke a week on Monday but the tie will be moved to Saturday if the Potters have to face Coventry in a replay.

Mourinho said on the club's plans: 'Did you see the players celebrating the second goal? Everyone wants to have a good week of good training, good facilities in the sun, but now we still depend on Stoke result. Because if Stoke gets a draw we don't go to Dubai.

'When do we go? We go Monday but if they get a draw we don't go.'
