With the January transfer window officially opening on Monday, clubs from England and across Europe will be ready to splash the cash on signings that will bolster their squads. 

The window is set to be busy and it has already started in emphatic fashion, with Liverpool having already snapped up the £75million signing of Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk.

Kiko Casilla (Real Madrid)

The 31-year-old is being pushed out of Madrid and has been offered to Rafa Benitez at Newcastle.

Sam Johnstone (Man United)

On loan at Aston Villa but can go for £5m, with Palace showing interest. 

Pontus Dahlberg (IFK Gothenburg)

Just 18, Arsenal were keen but Watford are close to a £3m deal.

RIGHT-BACK

Daniel Opare (Augsburg)

Everton have been out to watch the £20m-rated 25-year-old who can play across the back four.

Celtic want Dundee’s Jack Hendry and would sell Burnley target Simunovic for around £7m.
