Jamie Vardy is aiming to reach a century of Premier League goals after scoring his 50th in the draw against Manchester United.
The Leicester striker believes he can play long enough in the top flight to join the 100 club having entered professional football later than most of his contemporaries.
Vardy has amassed his total having only started playing Premier League football in the 2014-15 season and though he turns 31 next month he still feels fresh.
Jamie Vardy's first and 50th Premier League goals both came against Manchester United
'I hope the goals start flowing and it could happen, why not,' he said when asked about the prospect of doubling his current tally.
'I will take each game as it comes and I am going to try and score as many as possible. It is now time to kick on and hope a lot more come.'
Vardy predicted he has many more years at his peak. 'It is weird, I don't know if it is because I have come into the game a lot later,' he said.

'I am lucky enough I am only waking up sore the morning after and then I am back at it training. Hopefully long may that continue.'
Vardy's first Premier League goal came against United and in total he has scored 21 times against the big six teams of Manchester City, Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea.
He said: 'I literally couldn't tell you why but if that is the case then I am obviously not doing as well against teams outside the top six!'
