The organisers will be hoping the draw runs smoothly following glitches in previous rounds
Arsenal take on West Ham and Manchester City travel to Leicester on Tuesday in the last eight, while Chelsea host Bournemouth on the same night as the draw.
The organisers will be hoping the draw for the semi-finals runs smoothly after a season of high-profile gaffes.
Four draws in this campaign have suffered some sort of glitch.
During the first round draw, League One side Charlton were listed as having been drawn out of the hat twice in a technical error.
The Addicks were paired with both Exeter City, away and Cheltenham Town at home.
Oxford United were in fact drawn against the Robins.
The draw was broadcast live from Bangkok on Facebook, but the stream suffered sound problems and also crashed.
Fixtures had to be clarified following the second round draw after John Salako, live on Sky Sports News, called out a host of teams away when they should have been playing home ties.
The Football League announced that four ties had been drawn incorrectly.
Norwich, Charlton, Watford and Brentford all tweeted their confusion at who they would be playing and where after the draw.
In the first round of the draw, Charlton appeared to be given two ties, one home and one away
The draw for the third round was held at the unusual time of 4.15am in Beijing.
And finally for the quarter-final draw, Twitter and the EFL had to apologise after the draw was delayed by an hour and 45 minutes because of a 'minor technical glitch' with the live stream on the social media platform.
The draw was due to start at 4pm on October 26, but instead began at 5.45pm. Eventually an eight-minute recording of the quarter-final ties was published.
The semi-finals will be played in the new year, with the first legs taking place the week commencing January 8 and the return legs to be played the week commencing January 22.
