'Our opponents have all these issues,' Mourinho said. 'They have a big issue but in the end everybody is ready to play.
'They have phenomenal organisations. We are a bit more humble. When we have a problem, we have a problem. When players are injured, they are injured. I tell you the truth.
'No stories of (Alexandre) Lacazette or David Silva. All truth. Eric Bailly has no chance. Phil Jones has a chance.
But that didn't wash with Mourinho, who took a thinly-veiled wipe at his City counterpart
Mourinho said he doesn't lie about injuries, claiming Phil Jones has a chance to play on Sunday
'Marouane Fellaini a chance. Zlatan Ibrahimovic a big chance. Nemanja Matic is injured but will play for sure.'
United topped their Champions League group after beating CSKA and equalled a club record 40 home matches unbeaten.
Mourinho warned that no European giant will want to draw his side in the last 16 - but is not bothered about records.
'Nemanja Matic is injured but will play for sure,' said Mourinho of Serb's chances for Sunday
'It doesn't matter who you get in the draw,' he added. 'That team won't be jumping with happiness to play against us.
'I'm not the luckiest guys with draws so it's better I shut up and forget it! We play in February and until then I have to concentrate on the English competitions.
'I'm not proud of the record because we had some bad results at home. We drew matches which weren't good. I'm not playing for records.'
