Chelsea legends Ashley Cole and Michael Essien stun fans by bringing Premier League trophy to New York for a screening of club's game at Liverpool

Chelsea fans in New York who attended a screening of Saturday's game with Liverpool got a surprise when club legends Ashley Cole and Michael Essien showed up... and brought the Premier League trophy with them.
A lucky group of US-based Blues were picked up Chelsea-branded bus with former players Cole and Essien on board.
The bus took them to a screening event attended by 500 Chelsea fans, who witnessed Antonio Conte's side draw 1-1 at Anfield via NBC's live coverage.

Essien and Cole also attended the Carolina Panthers vs New York Jets game at MetLife Stadium
The Blues legends take in the sights at the top of the Empire State Building in New York
Cole and Essien had a kickabout with two of NBC's pundits.
The pair also led a march of Chelsea supporters through the streets while holding the trophy which they both picked up during their time at Stamford Bridge.
Cole and Essien won the title together as Blues team-mates in 2010.
Ghanaian midfielder Essien also lifted the trophy in 2006.
There were scenes of wild celebration in New York when Willian scored a late equaliser to cancel out Mohamed Salah's opener at Anfield.
