Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde has hailed Luis Suarez as a 'killer', despite the striker's uninspiring start to the campaign.
The former Liverpool marksman failed to fire once more as Barca beat Sevilla 2-1 at the Nou Camp, meaning he has chalked up only three La Liga goals so far this term.
Despite Suarez falling short of his usual high standards, Valverde's men have extended their lead at the top of the table to four points following Saturday's win.

The striker has endured a frustrating start to the La Liga season, scoring just three goals so far
However, the Barca coach has backed his striker for a swift return to form after displaying some encouraging signs in recent weeks.
'We talk a lot about Suarez lately, but I'm pleased to have him because of how he works and all the things he gives us,' Valverde said.
'He is a killer.
However, the Barcelona boss insists his marksman is a 'killer' and has shown promise recently
'Despite the fact he's not scoring lately, he always has chances, [against Sevilla] too. And that is a good sign.'
Valverde will have one eye on Sunday's fixtures, as rivals Real Madrid host Las Palmas.
Barcelona next visit Leganes on November 18 following the international break.
