Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has stepped up his recovery from injury ahead of his side's clash with former side Tottenham.
The La Liga giants face their first trip to Wembley for Wednesday's Champions League clash. But they will be without ex-Spurs talisman Bale for the Group H tie.
The 28-year-old returned to training on Monday but failed to recover from his calf injury in time to be included in Zinedine Zidane's 19-man squad for the trip to London.

Instead, Bale has been on the training pitch back in Spain, going through a number of shooting and running drills on his own.
'Good sessions this week,' he wrote on Twitter alongside a video of him training. 'Good luck to the boys tonight, gutted to not be playing at Wembley but working hard to get back out there!
Bale has missed Real's last five La Liga matches after picking up the calf problem against Borussia Dortmund towards the end of September.
The setback came after the Wales forward had made an impressive start to the season, netting three goals and picking up four assists in only nine appearances.
Without him, Real take on Spurs in a game that could help decide who finishes on on top of Group H.
Both sides have so far taken seven points from their opening three matches, having drawn 1-1 at the Bernabeu a fortnight ago.
Before his injury, Bale had netted three goals and picked up four assists in nine appearances
