Nketiah scored twice for Arsenal to inspire a Carabao Cup comeback against Norwich
'I'm delighted first of all to make my home debut and to get on a score two goals and win the match for Arsenal FC is a great feeling for me and my family,' said Nketiah, who took 15 seconds to score his first goal for the club after replacing Francis Coquelin in the 85th minute.
'I'm just so happy that I could hear the fans screaming my name and it's been a childhood dream for me and I just want to keep pushing on and hopefully you'll see more goals and many better performances from me.'
Arsenal supporters sung the striker's name as Arsene Wenger's side saw off Norwich in extra-time.
The No 62 scored with his very first touch of the game before netting a header in extra-time
He said that he felt honoured to hear them sing his name but added that he wasn't going to allow himself to get carried away.
'It made me feel very privileged to be welcomed in by the fans like that and it's a dream come through as I said,' he said.
'I just want to keep impressing the fans and making them happy because they mean a lot to this club and they mean a lot to me so hopefully I can keep pushing forward.'
