Manchester United have made Harry Kane their top transfer target for next year's summer window and are willing to battle it out with Real Madrid for his signature.
Reports in Spain suggest that Real Madrid are already prepared to open the bidding for the Tottenham striker with an offer in the region of £170million.
And according to The Sun, United are happy to match that bid for Kane — with Old Trafford boss Jose Mourinho a long-term admirer of the forward.

The England striker has scored 15 goals in 13 appearances for club and country so far this season despite failing to find the back of the net in his first three matches of 2017-18.
Overall, he has hit 84 goals in 120 Premier League appearances for his boyhood club Tottenham.
United are reportedly prepared for Zlatan Ibrahimovic to move on when the 36-year-old's contract expires at the end of the season, meaning a new striker would be high on Mourinho's list of priorities.
Kane is expected to be named England captain on permanent terms by Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate ahead of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The 24-year-old was selected as skipper in both of England's last two matches, against Slovenia and Lithuania, and struck the decisive goal in both of those 1-0 victories.
United are second in the Premier League with 19 points from seven matches, while Tottenham are one place and five points behind.
Mourinho's men head to Anfield to play Liverpool on Saturday, while Tottenham host Bournemouth at Wembley.
