Manchester United's trip to Leicester could be moved to Christmas Eve as Sky risk provoking fan fury
- Leicester and Manchester United are being asked to play on Christmas Eve
- Sky Sports hope to move the pair's December 23 game backwards 24 hours
- The Premier League would have to resolve logistical problems for it to go ahead
Leicester City and Manchester United are being asked to switch their game to Christmas Eve as the broadcasting confusion over the festive period continues.
Jose Mourinho's side are scheduled to travel to the King Power Stadium on December 23 but Sky Sports hope to move it backwards 24 hours.
That comes after fan fury over the potential for Arsenal to host Liverpool in a lunchtime kick-off on Christmas Eve. Sky Sports are expected to announce the fixtures next week with West Ham against Newcastle also mooted.

Both Leicester and United hold serious reservations about the proposals and Sportsmail understands the Premier League would have to resolve logistical problems as well.
Leicester have an agreement in place which states they cannot play on the same day as the city's rugby union side, Leicester Tigers.
The Tigers have a huge clash with Saracens at Welford Road on Christmas Eve and questions remain as to whether that could be overcome.
Leicester, who saw a match against Arsenal changed at a fortnight's notice in 2016, could also encounter staffing issues and there are likely to be safety misgivings.
