Tottenham striker Harry Kane has been shortlisted for the Premier League player of the month award for September after enjoying a barn-storming run of form that included six goals.
The 24-year-old is favourite to collect the prize ahead of Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku and Chelsea's Alvaro Morata, both of whom scored four goals in the past month.
Kane's main rival will be Sergio Aguero, who registered an incredible five goals and three assists in just three appearances for Manchester City. His team-mate Kevin De Bruyne joins him after himself after providing three assists in that time.

Romelu Lukaku is in with a chance of winning the award after his four goals for Man United
Newcastle United will be pleased to see defender Jamaal Lascelles included on the list after he scored back-to-back winning goals in games against Swansea and Stoke to fire them into the top half of the table.
Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross is the final of the seven men to be included on the shortlist after scoring twice and assisting another to seal a 3-1 win over West Brom, their first ever in the Premier League.
Both Kane and Aguero have won the award on four occasions and it is likely that one of them will move to five, joining Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie and sitting just one behind all-time leader Steven Gerrard (six).

Lukaku has, surprisingly, only collected the prize once in his Premier League career while the remaining four are still waiting to be awarded their first.
The winner will be decided by public vote and you can have your say by clicking here and registering on the Premier League website.
You can also vote on the Premier League manager of the month award with favourite Pep Guardiola (Manchester City) joined by Mauricio Pochettino (Tottenham), Jose Mourinho (Manchester United) and Arsene Wenger (Arsenal) on the shortlist.
