Philippe Coutinho insists the Barcelona transfer episode is over and he remains committed to the Liverpool cause this season.
Liverpool held their ground when Barcelona came calling for Coutinho this summer and the saga dragged on all the way to deadline day and beyond.Ā
The Premier League club were even forced to deny offering Coutinho to the Catalans on the last day of the window.

In the wake of the Reds' 1-1 draw at Spartak Moscow in their Champions League group game clash, Coutinho has re-affirmed his commitment to the club.
'I'm calm. It's all passed by,' he said.Ā 'I'm here to defend the colours, to give my maximum.'

On the result at the Otkrytiye Arena, which leaves the Reds still winless in Group E, Coutinho was keen to stress the positives.
'It wasn't really the result we wanted, but we have to keep working and there are more games, another four games to come,' he added.Ā
Liverpool will look to get back to winning ways in the Premier League when they visit Newcastle on Sunday afternoon.Ā
