Slaven Bilic will show his West Ham squad clips of last season’s 1-0 win over Tottenham in the hope it triggers deja vu and they can inflict another defeat on Saturday.
Their win at the London Stadium in May shattered Spurs’ title hopes and Bilic now wants more of the same with Tottenham having shown signs of vulnerability in failing to beat Swansea and Burnley in the Premier League.
‘I watched the Swansea game and they deserved it (the 0-0 draw),’ Bilic said. ‘That is the pattern we have to repeat. We will show some clips, but we don’t have to watch other teams. We have to show them West Ham doing that.

‘That’s positive. Deja vu. They’ve been there on the pitch, it happened and that’s a good thing. It is a special atmosphere. We all remember those performances. The fans, the players and everyone involved talks for months after the games.’
Bilic was full of praise for Mauricio Pochettino’s team on Thursday, though, as he insisted they are the most attractive in the Premier League.
‘For me they are the team that plays the most attractive football,’ Bilic said. ‘They are definitely one of the contenders to win the title.’
Meanwhile, Pochettino has told Eric Dier he is more ‘valuable’ to him as a Jack of all trades rather than as a master of one position.
Pochettino said: ‘To play in different positions adds more value to the player. He can play like a right back or centre back or midfielder. All the managers love to have this type of player.’
