Liverpool 1-1 Burnley, Watford 0-6 Manchester City, Premier League RESULTS: Relive all Saturday's action
- Liverpool and Manchester City are back in Premier League action at 3pm
- Elsewhere, Newcastle host Stoke and Huddersfield are against Leicester
- At the Hawthorns, West Brom are against Slaven Bilic's West Ham
Manchester City and Liverpool are both in action during Saturday's 3 o'clock Premier League kick-offs.
Pep Guardiola's team are at Vicarage Road to play Watford while Liverpool host Burnley at Anfield, looking to hit back from last week's 5-0 thumping from City.
Elsewhere Newcastle play Stoke, Huddersfield take on Leicester and West Brom are against West Ham. Follow all the action LIVE with Sportsmail's JAMES DUTTON.
Thanks for joining this afternoon. But the fun doesn't end there - indeed does it ever in the land of the Premier League?
Mosey on over here to follow Tottenham vs Swansea... with me!
There's your Premier League table. Look away Crystal Palace fans...
Manchester City the big winners today with a huge win away at Watford. They storm to the top of the Premier League but that could all change when Manchester United face Everton tomorrow.
Liverpool slip to a 1-1 draw at home to Burnley and are down in eighth. Newcastle move to fourth with a 2-1 win over Stoke. Huddersfield are held at home by Leicester after taking the lead, and West Brom and West Ham have played out an incredibly forgettable stalemate.
Raheem Sterling goes down inside the area and is, for some reason, allowed to take the penalty. He makes no mistake and City have a sixth. Is that it...?
No Tom Heaton, no problem. Nick Pope does so well to save a Trent Alexander-Arnold shot from the edge of the area, and then acrobatically stops Dom Solanke from about two yards out.
LAURIE WHITWELL: It has been peak tedium at the Hawthorns, aside from Pedro Obiang’s outrageous attempt from 45 yards in the first half that hit the crossbar, and a bit of touchline antics from Slaven Bilic and Tony Pulis. The pair rowed when West Brom failed to kick the ball out as Marko Arnautovic lay prone – only to then call an arms-round-shoudlers ceasefire.
There was a bit more enjoyable aggro between the sides when Ben Foster brought down Javier Hernandez and referee Paul Tierney decided it worthy only of a yellow rather than red. But the ennui has since returned.
Two chances from corner kicks for Burnley, Mignolet in no man's land for either and he needs Matip to clear off his line for the first. The second time he saves Mee's header which is into his body.
It's five for Manchester City and Sergio Aguero has a hat-trick as he manages to find the bottom corner from an acute angle after a marauding run into the penalty area. It's his 10th hat-trick for the club.
Oxlade-Chamberlain and Solanke on for Liverpool. Firmino and Coutinho have both gone off.
Leicester should be ahead at Huddersfield but it is MISS OF THE SEASON from Jamie Vardy as he fails to find the target from three yards out. One to watch out for on Match of the Day this evening.
And Newcastle have re-taken the lead! It's Jamal Lascelles with his second goal inside a week!
Ben Foster has wiped out Chicharito and West Ham are apoplectic that he has only received a yellow card for a bad challenge.
Nicolas Otamendi makes it four for City with a stooping header.
Huddersfield thought they had re-taken the lead but it's been disallowed for an offside against Kachunga that appears questionable...
Daniel Sturridge makes some room on the edge of the area and fires a powerful effort at goal that Pope does well to parry behind.
Gudmondsson makes way for the away side, Ashley Barnes on.
Stoke have equalised at St James' Park through Xherdan Shaqiri - a curler from outside the area.
Coutinho shoots over at Anfield and Emre Can sees his low effort well saved by Pope in goal.
And he makes no mistake! We're all square once again at Huddersfield.
King brought down in the area, and a chance for Jamie Vardy to level things up immediately.
Laurent Depoitre has put Huddersfield ahead at the John Smith's Stadium. He finds the corner across Schmeichel.
And the second halves are underway across the country.
So that's the interval in all five Premier League games that kicked-off at 3pm. Man City racing towards the top of the table, Liverpool having to come back from behind to go in level at home to Burnley.
Newcastle lead and are heading into the top four, and it's goalless still at both Huddersfield and West Brom.
Liverpool close to taking the lead as Phil Coutinho threads a ball through for Daniel Sturridge and the England striker slams a powerful effort into the side netting.
CRAIG HOPE: As it stands, Newcastle are up to 4th in the Premier League. Didn't Mike Ashley say he'd sell if the club got Champions League football? Only 33 games to go...
Gabriel Jesus fires the ball into the bottom corner and City's magic front two have delivered once again. Watford all at sea, City strolling to victory.
It's an Aguero special.
It's starting to liven up now. I thought we were in for a pretty dead afternoon but if anything there's too much going on now.
And it's 2-0 to City, with Aguero at the double. The Argentine is unmarked at the far post as David Silva plays the ball across the six yard box and he makes no mistake.
And Liverpool are level almost immediately! A long ball forward, Mo Salah applies the low finish after controlling well on his chest.
And City are into the lead now too! Sergio Aguero gets a glancing header onto Kevin De Bruyne's free kick.
GOAL AT ANFIELD! And Liverpool are behind. Scott Arfield slots home from the edge of the area after Burnley win two headers, with the ball falling to the midfielder, and he makes no mistake low into the corner.
There really is not much going on. Richarlison goes close for Watford though, glancing a header wide from a free-kick.
GOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL
Christian Atsu has his first Premier League goal and Newcastle lead at St James' Park. The first goal of the afternoon. Let's hope that opens the floodgates.
Mo Salah takes a tumble in the box at Anfield but there is no penalty according to the referee. Looked like he could have been tugged back but the referee says no. Phil Coutinho has one of his trademark shots from distance which is deflected over.
It's all Liverpool so far at Anfield.
Good to see Rafa Benitez back in the dugout for Newcastle after missing their 1-0 win at Swansea last week due to a hernia operation.
West Brom close to opening the scoring at the Hawthorns through Kieran Gibbs but it remains goalless absolutely everywhere.
Not much to tell you about in the opening 10 minutes or so I'm afraid. But look! Photographic evidence that there are football matches ongoing.
We're underway up and down the country. Let's have some football!
Just a reminder of the league table. A point will send City top, but they will of course be looking to win. Liverpool can likewise jump up from 9th to joint top if results go their way.
Reminder that this is the fifth game of the season.
A nightmare start for Roy Hodgson and Palace's miserable start to the season continues. They've lost 1-0 at home to Southampton thanks to an early goal from Steven Davis.
They become the first side in English top-flight history to lose their first five games without scoring a goal. Not a record you want.
Vardy starts once again for Leicester at Huddersfield today.
Sergio Aguero and Philippe Coutinho both start this afternoon. We're just over half an hour away from kick-offs across the land.
Oh look, Burnley are starting with a goalkeeper after all.
Two changes for Watford as they host City at Vicarage Road, Janmaat and Mariappa in for Femenia and Kaboul.
Now I know Tom Heaton is injured but I still expected Burnley to name a goalkeeper today.
Ederson starts for Manchester City, will he be wearing a skull cap? Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero start together up front once again.
Seven changes for Liverpool - Philippe Coutinho starts his first game of the season, and James Milner captains.
