Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed he has been inundated with texts from Germany lauding his capture of Naby Keita.
Keita will move to Anfield next summer after the Reds agreed to pay RB Leipzig the winger's £48million release fee, which comes into effect next summer, as well as a substantial supplement on top of that.
It's a high price to pay for a player that will not be available for another 12 months, but Klopp, along with his friends in the Bundesliga, believe the Premier League side have got a bargain.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says he has received plenty of praise for the capture of Naby Keita
'I have contact to a lot of people in the Bundesliga, as you can imagine, and I have never had so many congratulations messages as I had after signing Naby,' the Liverpool boss was reported as saying in the Liverpool Echo.
'He's the player of the league, that's how it is. Last year, together with Thiago Alcantara who played an outstanding season for Bayern, he was the flier.
'He's been doing this for two or three years, with different clubs in different leagues, but he's still a young boy.
'It's really good news. OK, we have to wait but sometimes we have to wait for a really good thing. I have no problem with this.
'I would have preferred, of course, another situation, but it's cool!'

The midfielder will take the No 8 shirt - Steven Gerrard's old number - when he joins in 2018.
He will have to work his way into a front three that has shone at the beginning of this campaign for Klopp's side, with both Sadio Mane and new signing Mohammed Salah both impressing.
Liverpool face their toughest task of the season to date on Saturday lunchtime when they face Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
