Watford manager Marco Silva is delaying his decision whether to allow Miguel Britos back following his three-match ban for his horror lunge on Brighton’s Anthony Knockaert.

‘It’s impossible to be happy with that sending off,’ Silva said. ‘I’ve spoken with him.

‘He knows what is in my mind. He's very upset with his action. It's clear to him my opinion. Everything we do with our players will stay inside our club.’
Asked if he will be available again after his ban, Silva added: ‘He’s our player and if he stays here, I will make my decision whether he plays.
‘If we continue with Britos after these three games will be my decision.’
Watford travel to St Mary's to face Southampton on Saturday. The Hornets have began the Premier League campaign undefeated - with one win and two draws.
