Crystal Palace are confident they will complete the £7million signing of Everton striker Oumar Niasse after agreeing terms with the Merseyside club.
Niasse's goal record in England of five in 26 games for Everton and Hull hardly makes him prolific.
But Palace believe his willingness to run and upset defenders will help Christian Benteke in particular get more space in which to score goals.

He almost did a rescue job on loan at Hull last season before running out of steam and failing to score in his last seven games and the Tigers were relegated.
The 27-year-old came to Goodison Park with plenty of promise in 2016 but the former Locomotiv Moscow player failed to live up to expectations.
The Senegal international is viewed by Frank de Boer as a forward best deployed with support up front.

Palace have had a quiet transfer window thus far but have been linked with a move Mamadou Sakho as Steve Parish looks to conclude a flurry of late deals.
Eagles fans will hope the impending addition of Niasse will add firepower to a team that are yet to register a goal in the Premier League this season.
De Boer is under huge pressure already after defeats by Huddersfield, Liverpool and Swansea.
