Burnley want to take Aaron Lennon on loan but the former England international has been asked to stay by Everton.
The 30-year-old winger has made two appearances for Everton so far this season, away to Hadjuk Split and Chelsea.
While Lennon may find his first team chances limited this season, Everton will be keen to keep him given the uncertainty over Kevin Mirallas's future.
