Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had a medical at England’s training camp on Wednesday night and will join Liverpool for £35million on Thursday.
Jurgen Klopp has snatched the Arsenal star from under Chelsea’s noses after the Premier League champions agreed their own deal to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain earlier this week.
But as Sportsmail revealed on Wednesday, the 24-year-oldwas stalling on a switch to Stamford Bridge as Liverpool prepared to hijack the move.

Chelsea chiefs have been infuriated by Oxlade-Chamberlain’s snub given the amount of work they have put into landing him. It leaves their transfer plans in tatters, with moves for Danny Drinkwater and Ross Barkley also proving difficult to get over the line.
Chelsea, though, are closing in on a move for Swansea striker Fer-nando Llorente, who will provide back-up to first-choice striker Alvaro Morata.
Provided Oxlade-Chamberlain passes his medical he is expected to sign a five-year contract. The England forward is set to earn £120,000 a week at Anfield, which is £60,000 a week less than Arsenal offered in a new deal.
Oxlade-Chamberlain started Arsenal's game against Liverpool, which they went onto lose 4-0
The two clubs have a frosty relationship following Arsenal's pursuit of Luis Suarez in 2013
England manager Gareth Southgate will this afternoon decide whether Oxlade-Chamberlain is in the right frame of mind to be part of his plans for tomorrow’s World Cup clash against Malta.
Liverpool, who retain an interest in Monaco’s Thomas Lemar, could yet make one final offer for Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk as they look to end the transfer window with a flourish.
