Tottenham have confirmed the £42million arrival of Davinson Sanchez as the club finally splash out this summer transfer window.
Sanchez has joined on a six-year deal subject to a work permit and will wear the No 6 shirt for Mauricio Pochettino's side.
The Colombian international posed with his new shirt after completing his medical and paperwork on Wednesday.
Davinson Sanchez has joined Tottenham from Ajax for a club record fee of £42million
The £42m fee shatters Tottenham's previous transfer record - the £30m they paid to Newcastle for Moussa Sissoko last summer.
He is the second arrival at Tottenham on Wednesday after Spurs announced the signing of goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga from Southampton - who will become their third-choice stopper.
Sanchez starred for Ajax last season and was named the Dutch side's player of the year in his debut campaign in European football.

Sanchez completed his medical and has joined subject to receiving a work permit
His displays at the heart of Ajax's defence caught the eye, especially in their run to the Europa League final where they lost against Manchester United.
Sanchez will provide increased competition to Tottenham's established centre back pairing Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld - current third-choice option Kevin Wimmer is the subject of a £15m bid from Crystal Palace.
Ajax have raked in a huge profit on the 21-year-old - who signed for just £4m from Colombian outfit Atletico Nacional just last summer.
Sanchez managed a 88.9 per cent passing accuracy in his debut season in European football
The Colombia international scored six goals in 32 league appearances for Ajax last campaign
