Juan Mata's style of play would suit any era and it appears the Manchester United playmaker looks good in any of their kits from yesteryear too.
The Spaniard took to Instagram on Tuesday night to share with his followers the retro look he adorned as he posed in a Red Devils jersey from the 1982-83 campaign.
Accompanying the image with the caption: 'Vintage @manchesterunited #retro #oldschool,' Mata looks coolness personified in a shirt that provokes memories to star men Bryan Robson, Lou Macari and Norman Whiteside during the Ron Atkinson era.

And fast-forwarding to the present day, Mata has been excelling himself in the new United kit as they sit top of the Premier League after two games.
The 29-year-old has started both of their matches as they've swept aside West Ham and Swansea 4-0 apiece in impressive fashion.
Jose Mourinho's men face Leicester City next at Old Trafford on Saturday and Mata hopes they can continue their bright start against the Foxes.
Here I am writing to you for the second time this season, and after a second win. I hope we can keep this coincidence many more weeks… ;-),' he wrote on his One Hour Behind blog.
Mata started United's 4-0 win over Swansea as they remain top of the Premier League
'In terms of football, the week ends with a very good feeling again, following another convincing victory, although perhaps the score was too high.
'One thing is for sure, we have reasons to be happy with the confidence and determination that we are showing on the pitch, but we also know that this is just the beginning… It was fantastic to see so many Reds in the stands in Swansea. Celebrating the victories with you is priceless, you guys are great!
'The next weekend we have a new opportunity to keep gaining momentum, this time against Leicester, always a tough opponent. It would be great to take the first international break of the season with nine points out of nine.'
