Manchester United remain admirers of Tottenham target Ryan Sessegnon.

The 17-year-old continues to impress scouts with his performances in the Championship though Fulham maintain he is not for sale.

Tottenham insist they did not make a £25million bid for the England U19 international last week but have not ruled out making a bid in the future.

Liverpool stepped back from bidding for Sessegnon as they believed he had already chosen Tottenham as his next destination. United would consider allowing Sessgnon to continue at Fulham for this season.


United midfielder Andreas Pereira is wanted on loan by Valencia. Jose Mourinho has been keen to include Pereira in his squads this summer and believes he can make a breakthrough after his loan at Granada. 

However, Pereira is facing stiff competition and is keen to play more games. Valencia are also looking to finalise an agreement with Paris St Germain for the loan of former United target 20-year-old Gonçalo Guedes.

United's Luke Shaw and Ashley Young are due to play for United's U23s against Swansea City on Monday at Leigh Sports Village. Young is being considered by a number of Premier League clubs for a potential loan.

Everton misfit Oumar Niasse is discussing a move to Fenerbahce.

The 27-year old only moved to Goodison Park in January 2016 from Lokomotiv Moscow for a £13.5m fee and spent part of last season on loan at Hull City.

Brighton have been considering a move but Fenerbahce are hopeful of taking him back to Turkey.

Everton are continuing to look for another striker themselves after being rebuffed in efforts to lure Olivier Giroud away from Arsenal and Christian Benteke at Crystal Palace. Another option Nikola Kalinic has joined AC Milan and Real Sociedad's Willian Jose is admired but considered too expensive.

A foot injury to new Spanish signing Sandro is underlining their need to bring in another option with Championship players also being looked at.

Swansea City have agreed a deal with Hull City to sign midfielder Sam Clucas for a fee that could rise to £16million.

Burnley had a bid rejected for Clucas last week while Huddersfield Town had also shown intererst.

Burnley, who have confirmed the £15million signing of Chris Wood from Leeds, are weighing up a bid for Celtic defender Jozo Simunovic. Manager Sean Dyche also has an interest in former Hull City loanee Andrea Ranocchia from Inter Milan who is an option for Watford too.

Simunovic is valued at around £9million by Celtic and also has interest from Huddersfield Town, Swansea and Newcastle.

Liverpool are weighing up an offer for Fortuna Sittard defender Perr Schuurs.

The 17-year-old had a trial spell with the Anfield club in May and impressed coaching staff. 

Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are also interested in signing the 6ft 3ins centre-back who broke into Fortuna's first team last year making 24 appearances. He started at the weekend as Fortuna beat Dordecht 5-1.

Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are continuing to negotiate over a fee for Diego Costa.

Talks are ongoing with Costa intent on a move back to Atletico Madrid. No compromise has been reached as yet though Atletico are willing to offer up to £41m with a further £9m in add-ons.

Manchester City are not currently planning to offer the £275million buyout clause of Lionel Messi. City are reputed to have held a meeting with Messi's representatives last week but their immediate focus is on Alexis Sanchez at Arsenal.

Messi and Andres Iniesta are yet to sign new contracts at Barcelona. Indeed Messi is free to talk to foreign clubs from January. 

However, Barcelona's Robert Fernandez has insisted his contract is in place and will be announced soon.
