Hull have rejected a £5million offer from Burnley for Sam Clucas.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche is wasting no time in trying to spend the money from the £18.5m sale of Andre Gray to Watford.
Clucas, 26, was a bright spark for the Tigers last season despite their relegation from the Premier League.

The midfielder cuts a dejected figure following Hull's relegation to the Championship last term
Clucas has been transformed from a winger to a holding midfield player in the past 12 months and England boss Gareth Southgate has sent scouts to check on him and team-mate Harry Maguire, who joined Leicester in a £17m deal this summer.
It was Leicester who released Clucas for being too small aged 16 and he rebuilt his career at the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain before signing for Hereford and playing in England's top five divisions in as many seasons.
He became the first player to score in those five leagues in consecutive years when he netted against Leicester in March.
Despite his bright performances, he was unable to help the Tigers avoid an immediate return to the Championship.
But Dyche is keen to provide the midfielder with a route back into the top flight.
