They might be deadly rivals on the pitch, but Arsenal's Mesut Ozil and Manchester City's Ilkay Gundogan are the best of pals off it.
The two Gelsenkirchen-born German footballers who play together for their national team are great buddies off the field judging by their social media posts on Saturday.
Gundogan, whose promising start to his Manchester City career came to a halt after he injured knee ligaments in December, ruling him out of the rest of the season, spent some time with his friend Ozil.

He may have been the Etihad's forgotten man but Ozil's mateship has clearly left a mark on the 26-year-old midfielder signed on a four-year contract from Dortmund last summer.
Posting on social network site Instagram Gundogan penned in praise of his countryman: 'The Germans in UK! Always great to hang out with you, my friend!
'You're not only great on the pitch, but also great as a loyal and caring friend! #friendship'.
Ozil posted on his Twitter account that he was looking forward to playing against Chelsea

Ozil responded to the kind words by writing 'thanks for dropping by' on his Twitter account that is followed by 16.6 million fans.
Despite uncertainty over his Arsenal future, Ozil is believed to want to stay at the club and is in contention to play against Premier League champions Chelsea on Sunday in the Community Shield.
With his superb performance against the Blues still fresh in the mind - a stunning display that helped Arsenal beat their London rivals in May's FA Cup Final - Gunners fans will be cheering on their creative midfielder.
With the mutual appreciation society between Ozil and his German pal in full swing there is no doubt Gundogan will be cheering too.
