In the other big news of the draw, Serie A giants AC Milan will come up against FC Shkendija.
The Italians have invested heavily this summer, with the likes of Leonardo Bonucci and Andre Silva arriving at the San Siro.
They want to climb back to the summit of European football as soon as possible, and will see the Europa League as a trophy they could, and should, win.
For those who cannot make the journey out to Croatia, fear not, the Toffees will be televised.
The first leg at Goodison Park will be broadcast live on BT Sport on 17th August.

Draw now getting under way. To note, teams drawn first will be the home team.
Same process as the Champions League play-off draw, we not go through the technical procedure to explain the draw - how it works, how it's seeded, and how the fixtures will unfold.
The proceedings have not got under way, with an opening introduction.
A quick look now back at last season's final between Manchester United and Ajax, before the draw will get under way.
A full run-down, in full - the competing sides of the 2017/18 Europa League:
Everton, Austria Wien, Sūduva, AEK Athens, Ajax, BATE, Club Brugge, Dynamo Kyiv, FH, Legia, Ludogorets, Partizan, Plzeň, Rosenborg, Salzburg,

There will be a total of 44 teams in the draw. Of those teams, 29 will come from the third qualifying round, with a further 15 entering having lost in the Champions League qualifiers.
The clubs have been seeded according to their coefficient and split into groups. All the clubs within each group are ordered randomly and identified by a number.
For each group of clubs, two bowls will be prepared, one containing balls with slips of paper numbered for the seeded teams and the other containing balls with slips of paper for the unseeded teams.
The Toffees have been seeded and added to group two of the draw.
As a result they will avoid some of the giants swimming around in the waters - the likes of AC Milan and Ajax.
A multitude of long-distance trips are very much on the cards however, and something Ronald Koeman will be hoping to avoid.
With the Champions League play-off clashes now confirmed, all attention turned to the Europa League.
Premier League representatives Everton will be keeping a keen eye on the draw, hoping for lady luck to smile upon them and serve up a kind fixture.
The Toffees booked their place in the play-off stages after pulling off a 2-0 aggregate victory over Ruzomberok.
