Inter Milan are in fresh contract talks with Manchester United target Ivan Perisic.
The Croatia winger has been linked with a move to Jose Mourinho's side but the club are adamant the 28-year-old has never been on the market and want to tie him down to an extended contract.
With fierce rivals AC Milan boasting a summer of enviable business, Inter will be desperate to hang on to their stars and sporting director Piero Ausilio has reaffirmed the club's stance.

The Croatian winger has been linked with a possible move to Manchester United this summer
'I don't understand where some of these stories come from,' Ausilio told Mediaset Premium.
'(Antonio) Candreva has never been on the market and we have absolutely no intention of selling him.
'The same goes for Perisic, who is an important player and we are currently discussing a new contract with him.'
Piero Ausilio is adamant in his stance that Perisic is not and never had been for sale
Perisic scored 11 goals in 42 appearances for the Nerazzurri last season, contributing well in the final third.
As one of Inter's key players, head coach Luciano Spalletti will be desperate to hold onto the winger next season.
The last campaign saw the San Siro club finish a disappointing seventh, 29 points adrift of champions Juventus, so it will be vital for Inter to strengthen and keep their most potent threats for the coming season.
Mourinho wants one more big signing to complete his summer spending spree, and top of his list is a speedy, skilful forward. Perisic, who had been thought to available for about £45million, would fit the bill.
United have already splashed out nearly £150m this summer, on £75m striker Romelu Lukaku, £40m midfielder Nemanja Matic and £31m defender Victor Lindelof.
