Arsenal fans desperate for any suggestion Alexis Sanchez might pledge his future to the club will be heartened by a video of the forward appearing to kiss the badge.

During an open training session in front of 5,000 spectators, the Chilean shared a joke with fellow contract rebel Mesut Ozil before his gesture.

Sanchez is seen laughing with his German team-mate before pulling the crest rapidly to his mouth and beating a fist to his chest.

The 28-year-old has been repeatedly linked with a move away, with Manchester City willing to pay Sanchez £320,000 a week

But Arsene Wenger has consistently maintained that his star man will remain with the Gunners this summer despite there being only one year remaining on his contract. 

Sanchez has kept fans guessing, saying he has decided on his future without revealing his intentions to supporters.

Clearly it remains uncertain what the combative forward is going to do but his training antics could offer a sliver of hope to Arsenal fans.
