Bernat's penalty was saved by Martinez and that's it, Arsenal win!
The ball comes thumping back off the bar.
Thunderous penalty from the Spaniard
Coman steps up and just about beats Martinez to give Bayern the lead for the first time.
Elneny sees his spot kick saved by Fruchtl
Hummels converts well to bring Bayern level.
After Martinez saved the first spot kick from Alaba, Ramsey thumped his home to put Arsenal 1-0 up.
And that was the final touch of the game!
The best move of the game from Arsenal brings an equaliser as Iwobi connects with Ramsey's ball into the box to head home.
87 minutes: Alaba gets forward well and somehow finds himself in the middle of the Arsenal box, where he tries to connect with a cross from Bernat but can't make contact with his flick towards goal.
84 minutes: The youthful Arsenal substitutes are beginning to have some joy while running at the Bayern backline, but they lack the composure to create anything meaningful.
Hummels is still on for the Germans and is putting paid to any Arsenal attack.
This game is really starting to slow down now, amid the constant flurries of substitutions.
Very few chances, but most of the attacking is still being done by Bayern. The Germans enjoying 55 per cent possession.
There are 39,208 fans in the Shanghai Stadium for this one.
Felix Gotze, the younger brother of Dortmund's Mario, is on for Rafinha. Dorsch and Friedl also on.
Martinez replaces Cech following a very impressive showing.
Nketiah is on for Welbeck. Giroud still waits on the bench.
Maitland-Niles wins a free-kick down the right which Nelson, No 61, takes, but his delivery is cleared by Hummels.
Here we go with a few more changes. Lewandowski and Rodriguez have both now departed and youngsters Wintzheimer and Pantovic are on to replace them.
Youngster Fruchtl has replaced Starke in goal.
60 minutes: Alaba fires in the resulting free-kick but that's well saved by Cech once again.
This time it's Elneny who gets the card after standing on Tulisso's foot. Harsh, given it was the Bayern man who stretched to fly into that tackle.
That's hard from Maitland-Niles on Ribery. The young Englishman won the ball, but he also took plenty of the man as he left the Bayern player in a heap on the floor.
He's coming back on after a bit of treatment, though.
Right, here we go.
Walcott, Iwobi, Willock and Bramall are also now on the pitch. With Ozil, Coquelin and Bielik being replaced. Lacazette also off.
I think that's it for now.
48 minutes: This make shift Arsenal defence is getting run-ragged by the Bayern wide players, with Coman the next to have a go and get in behind. His ball found Rodriguez, but Cech again makes the save.
Kingsley Coman and Renato Sanches on for Bayern in this second half, both with something to prove. They replace Muller and Martinez.
We are off and running once again.
That's half-time but Ribery's at it again just before the break as he jinks in behind and looks to square for Lewandowski, but Xhaka is back to clear.
Kolasinac's evening is over as he trots over to be replaced by Nelson on 43 minutes. Odd timing - he didn't appear to be injured.
MATT BARLOW IN SHANGHAI: Kolasinac looked as it he may be another feeling unwell. Hunched over as if being sick with hands on knees before he was replaced by Reiss Nelson before half-time. He has gone straight down the tunnel with one of the medics.
42 minutes: A chipped ball over the top of the Arsenal defence from Bernat finds Rodriguez in so much space, but the Colombian takes his time before shooting and can't take his chance. That is down to Cech, who gets out superbly and blocks the ball away from close range.
Ribery is turning Maitland-Niles inside out, which on this occasion produces a chance for Bernat to turn and shoot. Again it's deflected, but again Cech is equal to it.
35 minutes: Cech is down to try and block a Muller shot before the ball is deflected on its way to goal. That's no bother for the big Czech goalkeeper, though, who sticks out a big hand to turn the ball behind.
33 minutes: Lacazette is clean through and looks to have beaten the veteran goalkeeper with a clean finish, but Starke gets his hand down late to turn the ball behind for a corner.
Javi Martinez is now in the book for a bit of back chat. It's pre-season, guys!
Bayern are in the midst of something of a goalkeeper crisis in the early days of pre-season, with both Manuel Neuer and Sven Ullrich out injured following problems at the end of last season.
Never fear, though, Bayern were able to call on veteran Tom Starke, who came out of retirement in order to take his place on the pre-season tour. He will retire again in August to work as a goalkeeping co-ordinator with the club's academy.
21 minutes: It's a let off for Arsenal as Bayern should be 2-0 up.
It's Tolisso who has the ball in the net after the ball was neatly nodded through to him. He's well onside as he beats Cech but, for some reason the flag goes up.
Coquelin goes in hard on Ribery, he's late and is booked. Bang to rights on that one.
It's only a friendly but this is looking ominous for Arsenal. Ribery is having his way with the young Gunners on the right of the Arsenal defence and just walked through before failing to find Muller with his pull back.

Welbeck superbly picks out the run of Ozil into the box, the German connects with his volley and guides the ball towards goal but there's not an awful lot of power and it's straight at Starke.
The Pole sends Cech the wrong way and it's 1-0 to Bayern.
It goes to Bayern after Bernat goes down following a battle with Maitland-Niles. There's not a great deal in it but it's a spot kick. Lewandowski to take
Eight minutes: It's inviting for Xhaka as he connects with Welbeck's rolled pass, but his effort is too high and it flies onto the running track behind the goal.
Five minutes: The first real chance falls to James Rodriguez who had time to bring the ball down and shoot after Franck Ribery turned Ainsley Maitland-Niles inside out to put in a cross.
Fortunately for Arsenal, his effort was into the side-netting.
One minute: The Gunners play it around at the back and go all the way back to Cech, who passes it straight out of play.
We are underway in Shanghai.
After a bit of a delay, the teams are on their way out.
MATT BARLOW IN SHANGHAI: It is another sweltering evening in Shanghai with temperatures touching 40C this week and almost everyone here are fanning themselves, either with one of the beautiful silk fans on sale everywhere or one of the red-and-white clapper boards handed out at the turnstiles.
This must be what they mean by a passionate fanbase.
There are thousands of empty seats at the Shanghai Stadium although those here are screaming with enthusiasm as the teams are read out and translated.
Arsene Wenger is sauntering around the running track as his team run through their warm-up exercises.
Bayern have brought the Bundesliga trophy with them and fans are lapping it up outside the stadium.
A bit of a delay before kick-off it seems, with fans still coming into the stadium
Sadly Per Mertesacker is ill... so Mohamed Elneny comes in in his place.
This is interesting from Sportsmail's Kit Holden, on the changing of the guard at Bayern.
Franck Ribery has been in Munich for a decade now and, with Arjen Robben alongside him, they have been absolute terrors.
But with the wingers both in their mid-thirties, Bayern are looking to the future... but don't count the two ageing stars out yet.
No Alexis Sanchez today, of course. He's away on holiday as talk rumbles on regarding his future.
Arsene Wenger gave his strongest statement yet yesterday, as he insisted the club will not be selling their star man and will instead demand he stays to help them get back into the Champions League.
Here's the situation at the moment, and how the whole affair could bring in a whole new era when it comes to approaches to transfers.
The Gunners clearly know their audience and are out to impress. Today on their stylish new away kit the usual Fly Emirates logo has been replaced by the airline's name, written in Chinese.
James Rodriguez starts.
STARTING XI: Starke; Rafinha, Hummels, Martinez, Alaba; Ribery, Bernat, Tolisso, Rodriguez, Muller, Lewandowski
Subs: Fruchtl Hoffmann, Gotze, Coman, Dorsch, Friedl, Sanches, Wintzheimer, Pantovic.
The Gunners side has been named for the start of today's game, but expect a raft of changes.
STARTING XI: Cech, Bielik, Mertesacker, Monreal, Maitland-Niles, Coquelin, Xhaka, Kolasinac, Ozil, Welbeck, Lacazette
