Neighbourhood is a chain with restaurants in both Liverpool and Manchester and markets itself as an easy-eating all-day brasserie.

Once the squad had fully re-fuelled, they descended upon Club LIV in Manchester city centre near the Opera House.

Aguero netted twice with Gabriel Jesus, Ferndandinho and Vincent Kompany also troubling the scorers.

The victory wrapped up a third-place finish ahead of Liverpool and means Guardiola's side enter the Champions League next season without having to negotiate a play-off.

It has been suggested that City are still a team in transition but their Spanish manager is not accustomed to finishing a campaign without silverware to show for it.

Elimination at the hands of Monaco in Europe, Arsenal in the FA Cup and Manchester United in the EFL Cup frustrated supporters used to winning in recent years.

Guardiola has already announced he will not be taking a summer holiday as he looks to build for next season and find reinforcements in the transfer market.
