Antonio Conte has told John Terry he will always have a home at Chelsea as the Italian considers handing his captain what could be a last start for the club.
Sunderland are the visitors at Stamford Bridge where Terry will lift the Premier League trophy after the game.
‘It’s not easy,’ said Conte. ‘When you are used to having a club in your life every day, and when you start your day you have the club in your mind, it’s not easy to start to think about starting a new day with this situation finished.

'He wants to play regularly, so it’s right for him to go and play, but Chelsea will always be his house for him.’
Asked whether Terry will start, Conte said: ‘It will be a surprise. He has been very important to winning this title. For this reason, I have to make the best decision for him.’
Conte says his own future will be discussed after next week’s FA Cup final amid interest from Inter Milan. ‘I have two years’ contract to go,’ said Conte.
