Tottenham No 1 Hugo Lloris has the potential to play for one of the European elite, claims former France goalkeeper Fabien Barthez.
Lloris has been a consistent performer for Spurs this season and helped them climb to second in the Premier League.
And former Manchester United shot-stopper Barthez believes the 30-year-old can maintain his high standards for a number of years to come.

Speaking to L'Equipe he said: '[Lloris] could play in any of the top five European clubs.
'There are so many people around these transfers.
'But the little delicate stage that he experienced when he arrived in England made him a better player. And he did what he had to do; he shut his mouth and he worked.'
Lloris moved to White Hart Lane in the summer of 2012, instantly becoming the club's No 1 and becoming club captain three years later.

Despite passing the age of 30, Barthez believes he will remain the first choice for his national side for the foreseeable future.
'He is good and there is no-one else knocking at the door,' Barthez added. 'Hugo is 30 and I hope he will be there for another six years. He is at the peak of his career.
'[Getting 87 caps] means he is as good as me and if he gets more, he is better because of his longevity. Joel Bats reached 50 caps, I got 87, and I hope he will finish at 120 and some.'
Lloris has been a consistent performer for Tottenham since joining the club in 2012
