Arsenal star Mesut Ozil proves his class with outrageous charity bucket challenge trick-shot

At the moment it seems like just about everything is going right for Mesut Ozil at Arsenal.

After opening the scoring in a 5-1 rout of West Ham last weekend, the Germany international produced another accomplished performance to help the Gunners claim a 4-1 win away at Basel on Tuesday night.

The midfielder can't seem to put a foot wrong right now and he was keen to prove it to his team-mates in a new trick-shot video released on Wednesday.

Shkodran Mustafi, Danny Welbeck, Rob Holding and Ozil all took on a coin toss charity bucket challenge in order to promote the club's official charity, The Arsenal Foundation.

However, while Ozil's team-mates did their best to flick coins into the charity bucket from a distance, the German playmaker proved his class with an outrageous effort using his feet.

After being tossed a coin, Ozil proceeds to perform a number of kick-ups before calmly half-volleying it into the bucket.

Ozil's international team-mate Mustafi appeared to be particularly impressed with the midfielder's effort, which was organised to raise awareness for the Arsenal's charity matchday against Stoke on Saturday.

Every member of Arsenal's squad will donate a day's wages to The Arsenal Foundation, which supports projects that use football as a way to help young people around the world.

Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis explained the idea behind the annual matchday: 'Our annual charity matchday is an important part of what we are as a club.

'We are in a privileged position where we can make a meaningful difference - both with the funds we raise and the power the Arsenal name has to inspire young people. We want to make the most of that opportunity.'
