SIMON JONES: Burnley have made initial enquiries about Sheffield Wednesday defender Tom Lees.

Burnley want to strengthen their squad for their return to the Premier League and are growing wary of Leicester City's interest in Michael Keane after rejecting an £11million proposal from the Premier League champions.

Lees, 25, has been a cornerstone of Wednesday's impressive defence during the past two seasons and signed a new four year contract last year.

Romelu Lukaku's agent has offered Everton hope they can hang on to the striker with the arrival of Ronald Koeman at Goodison Park.

The Belgium striker, currently at Euro 2016, has been making noises about leaving this summer with a host of clubs, including the likes of AC Milan and Paris St Germain, reportedly interested.

However, representative Mino Raiola told Belgian newspaper Sportwereld: 'If he leaves, it's has to be a good deal for all parties involved.'

SIMON JONES: Leicester City have completed their second signing of the summer.

Defender Luis Hernandez has signed a four-year deal after his contract with Sporting Gijon expired. The 27-year-old centre back will join up with Claudio Ranieri's side from July 1. 

Hernandez becomes the Foxes' second summer signing as they prepare for the Champions League next season, while they are also chasing Watford striker Troy Deeney.

Blackburn Rovers chasing free agent Nick Powell

SIMON JONES: Blackburn Rovers are in talks over a move for former Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell.

The 22-year-old was released by United at the end of the season and is available as a free agent.

Manager Owen Coyle is a confirmed fan and worked well with Powell previously at Wigan Athletic.

The former England U21 international joined United from Crewe in 2012 in a deal worth up to £6million but he failed to fulfil his potential.

AMITAI WINEHOUSE: Real Madrid are set to exercise their buy-back clause in Alvaro Morata's contract to sign him this summer, according to Juventus chief executive Giuseppe Marotta. 

Morata has impressed at Euro 2016, scoring twice in Spain's last tie against Turkey, and aided the Old Lady of Turin to a fifth successive Serie A title with seven goals in the league.

The striker is attracting interest from a series of Europe's top clubs, including Premier League duo Arsenal and Chelsea, and Marotta seemed to confirm he would be departing Turin this summer.

JACK GAUGHAN: Manchester City target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang still wants to leave Dortmund this summer as Atletico Madrid entered the race for his signature.

Pep Guardiola quickly made it known to sporting director Txiki Begiristain that the striker, who turned 27 on Saturday, was one to target after being announced as Manuel Pellegrini’s successor in February.

So says club president Aurelio De Laurentiis, who told Italy's Radio Kiss Kiss that 'If his words are sincere, Higuain will play in Naples for at least another five years.'

Leicester have offered £25million for the 27-year-old but will increase their offer if given further encouragement.

Watford are weighing up whether a bid of around £30m will be enough for them knowing they also have to pay a 20 per cent sell-on to Walsall, Deeney's previous club.

ALEX BYWATER: Laurent Blanc will leave Paris Saint-Germain by the end of the week, despite signing a two-year contract extension in February.

The French World Cup winner is going through the final discussions over his departure from the Parc des Princes, his agent Jean Pierre Bernes confirmed on Monday.

'Before the end of the week, PSG and Laurent Blanc will be separated,' Bernes told French radio station Europe 1. 'We're in discussions with PSG directors and it's being done in an excellent atmosphere from both sides.'
