Former Arsenal captain Arteta has agreed to become one of Guardiola’s coaches next season, with the appointment to be confirmed imminently.

The Spaniard has rejected the Gunners’ attempts to keep him at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal offered Arteta a coaching role in their academy.
