Oumar Niasse trained alongside his new team-mates on Thursday as he gears up to try and prove why Everton were right to splash the cash on him on deadline day.
The Senegal forward made a £13.5million move from Lokomotiv Moscow last week, becoming the third most expensive player in the Toffees' history.
And after missing consecutive 3-0 wins against Newcastle and Stoke, Niasse is keen to make his debut when West Brom visit Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.

Roberto Martinez says Senegal forward Niasse is 'desperate to be involved' against Tony Pulis' side
The 25-year-old was pictured in training at the club's Finch Farm complex on Thursday morning as Roberto Martinez's side go in search of back-to-back home wins for the second time this season.
Niasse hasn't played since December but Martinez admits that he could throw his new man in at the deep end against Tony Pulis' side.
Asked if Niasse's debut could come against the Baggies, Martinez told evertontv: 'It could. He had one full session with the team before the Stoke game but I thought it was probably a bit too early.
'This week has been completely different, he has had a really good working period and all he needs is some good solid work before he can compete in the team.

'The Premier League is a competition that you have to be ready in order to have an impact.
'It is important he gets the time and the understanding he needs but, at the same time, I have seen he is desperate to be involved.'
Romelu Lukaku, Ross Barkley and Tom Cleverley were among those put through their paces ahead of Saturday's game as Martinez looks to lead his side back into contention for a European place.
The Spaniard is pleased with the balance of his squad after the close of the transfer window and has quashed talk of a move to the Chinese Super League for captain Phil Jagielka.
'Someone, somewhere has come up with a story,' Martinez said in his pre-match press conference.
'I can tell you there is no substance to that rumour.
'I can guarantee no-one will leave between now and the end of the season unless it is a loan to the Championship for a player we feel needs a bit of playing time.

'Any speculation is a waste of time.'
Tim Howard and John Stones, who have both missed the last three matches with knee and hamstring injuries respectively, are in with a chance of being fit for Saturday's game.
'John and Tim are in a very similar situation and we are hoping they can join the group at the end of the week and then we can make a full assessment and it will be a late decision to see if they can be involved in the squad at the weekend,' added Martinez.
'Mo Besic (hamstring) is not going to be involved in this squad but I'd be very surprised if he wasn't involved after West Brom.'
