Gary Cahill and Diego Costa are doubts for the Community Shield against Arsenal on Sunday.
England defender Cahill suffered a suspected broken nose in scoring Chelsea’s equaliser against Barcelona while forward Costa went off after an hour with hamstring trouble.
Cahill suffered the blow to his nose as he stooped to head the equaliser in the 2-2 draw, clashing with Barca keeper Jordi Masip. If he plays on Sunday he may need to wear a protective mask.

Diego Costa is also a doubt after going off with hamstring trouble during his side's victory
Jose Mourinho, speaking after the Blues won on penalties thanks to Lopic Remy slotting home the decisive kick, said: ‘Cahill has a chance of a broken nose, maybe yes, maybe no. If he's not perfect, he goes tomorrow to make a mask to be ready to play on Sunday.
'Diego felt a little thing in his hamstring. We believe just a feeling, no more than that, but we have to wait.’
