Iker Casillas believes Real Madrid should sign David de Gea from Manchester United - even if it spells the end of his Bernabeu career.
De Gea has been strongly linked with a move back to his homeland after failing to agree a new contact at Old Trafford and the deal is expected to be pushed through over the summer.
And the 24-year-old, who has been excellent for United this season, would likely displace the long-serving Casillas, who joined the Real academy a quarter-century ago.

David de Gea has enjoyed an outstanding season for Manchester United, winning them many points
But asked whether he would like to see De Gea signed from United, Casillas said: 'Of course I would.'
The 34-year-old World Cup winner then confirmed he will be at Real next season regardless of whether he is No 1.
Casillas, who has made 724 matches for the club, has come under scrutiny for a series of high-profile errors that have left Real trophyless this season.
