With just a week until Christmas Day, Sportsmail's nostalgic picture series Golden Years couldn't resist getting in the festive swing this week.

We have a selection of special Christmas photos from across the decades, beginning with a knees-up at Spurs in the 1960s and taking in turkeys at West Ham, George Best in a Santa costume and Vinnie Jones handing out presents.

Feel free to share any of your own memories with us in the comments section beneath this feature.

We'll be back with some more nostalgia from the archives in a special Christmas Day Golden Years next week.
