Holland were in training action on Tuesday ahead of their must-win Euro 2016 qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Czech Republic, but boss Danny Blind suffered another blow as Newcastle defender Daryl Janmaat was ruled out with a knee injury.
The Dutch are fourth in Group A, two points behind third-place Turkey. Iceland and the Czech Republic have already qualified from the group. The team that finishes third earns a play-off spot.
Failure to qualify would mean Holland missing out on a major tournament for the first time since the 2002 World Cup, while the last time they didn't qualify for the European Championships was in 1984.

Captain Arjen Robben, midfielder Davy Klaassen and defenders Ron Vlaar and Stefan de Vrij also are out of the squad with injuries.
Blind has not called up a replacement for Janmaat for Saturday's match against Kazakhstan in Astana, but could still add a player to the squad for next Tuesday's match against the Czech Republic in Amsterdam.
Janmaat has featured in all but one of Newcastle's Premier League games this season, although the club are bottom of the table and still winless.
The 26-year-old played the full 90 minutes as Sergio Aguero fired five past them in a 6-1 win for Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
