Stoke have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of winger Jese Rodriguez from Paris Saint-Germain on a season-long loan.
The 24-year-old, a product of Real Madrid's academy, burst onto the scene as an 18-year-old back in 2011 and went on to score 18 goals in 94 appearances for the senior side.
AndStoke have made a statement of intent with the announcement of Rodriguez, posting a video with a nod to a newspaper headline which slammed them for their lack of ambition after the sale of Marko Arnautovic to West Ham.

The sale of Arnautovic to West Ham this summer sparked debate over their intentions
The club announced the signing in a Twitter video, including a newspaper headline in which the Austrian — who made the £24million switch earlier this summer — claimed West Ham are 'a bigger, more ambitious club than Stoke.'
It also had a tweet from radio show talkSPORTDrive, following the sale of Arnautovic, which said: 'Stoke — what on earth is going on there?'
The Potters' video then went on to define what ambition meant before reeling off Rodriguez's achievements in his short career thus far — claiming two Champions League trophies and La Liga and Copa del Rey titles in Madrid before his £22m switch to PSG last summer.
A knee injury hampered his progress in the French capital and was sent out on loan to La Liga outfit Las Palmas.

As a Real Madrid academy product, he won La Liga, Copa del Rey and two Champions Leagues
Stoke now boast five Champions League winners in their squad (Rodriguez, Xherdan Shaqiri, Bojan Krkic, Darren Fletcher and Ibrahim Afellay), more than any other team in the Premier League.
Rodriguez becomes the sixth signing of the summer at the Bet365 Stadium, following Darren Fletcher, Kurt Zouma, Maxim Choupa-Moting, Bruno Martins Indi and Josh Tymon.
Potters chief executive Tony Scholes said: 'Jese was a man in demand when PSG made it clear they would allow him to leave on loan and we’re delighted he has chosen to join us.
'He hasn’t had the happiest of periods in his career in Paris but he’s still only a young man and is hungry to make a big impression in the Premier League.
'His pedigree speaks for itself and he will most certainly add to the firepower at our disposal.'
