ANTONIO CONTE has hit out at rumours of Carlo Ancelotti replacing him at Chelsea - insisting there's a lot of bulls*** around the club.

Chelsea got back to winning ways last time out in the Premier League as they came from behind to beat Watford 4-2 at Stamford Bridge, having previously suffered defeats to Manchester City and Crystal Palace.

The Blues already trail league leaders Manchester City by nine points heading into their trip to Bournemouth and Antonio Conte knows he can’t afford to drop more points.

Pressure is mounting on the Italian’s shoulders with reports suggesting Carlo Ancelotti is waiting in the wings to replace him if Conte leaves.

But Conte is furious with the suggestions the former Bayern Munich boss could return to Stamford Bridge.

He said: "There’s a lot of bullshit. They try to create problems between me and the club. I’ve answered this very well in the past about different issues.

"It’s a lack of respect. To put other persons in this way is not correct. It is not correct and I hate this type of situation.

“I’m in touch with Carlo as he’s my friend. He does not mean nothing. Why? Honestly I don’t read a lot.

“I don’t care what the newspapers write about my future. This is my job.

“Carlo is my friend and I have great respect for him. He was my coach at Juventus.”

Ancelotti is thought to be keen on a return to the Blues and The Sun claim Chelsea chiefs do not expect Conte to see out the remaining 20 months of his contract.

Ancelotti won the Premier League and the FA Cup during his two-year spell with Chelsea between 2009 and 2011.

But he left Bayern earlier this season after a poor start to the campaign and a thrashing against PSG.

Conte has not hid his desire to return to Italy one day and has constantly been linked with a move back to Serie A.
