Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp gives hilarious response when compared to Jose Mourinho

LIVERPOOL boss Jurgen Klopp jokingly suggested he was a "charismatic, funny, loser" when being compared with the likes of Jose Mourinho.

Liverpool take on Maribor in the Champions League tomorrow night and the German was talking to the media when a Slovenian journalist prompted him to give a hilarious assessment of himself.

The journalist suggested Jurgen Klopp is admired for his charisma and personality, and not necessarily his achievements in football - unlike Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.

Klopp was confused by the comment and said: “So I am a charismatic, funny, loser?”

Mourinho and Klopp made digs at one another in the lead up to Liverpool's clash with Manchester United on Saturday.

Despite all the hype, both teams played out a 0-0 draw at Anfield but Klopp insists his team are going into their clash with Maribor full of confidence.

Jose Mourinho's Manchester United left Anfield with a point on Saturday

“It is easy to remember how hard we fought for the Champions League.

“We have lost two games, one in the Capital One Cup and one with 10-men against Manchester City. 99 percent of teams in world football would lose against Manchester City at the moment.

“Why should we lose confidence?"
