Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho faces seven fixtures before October

Manchester United are scheduled to play seven games in three weeks before the next international break.

They face Stoke, Everton, Southampton and Crystal Palace in the Premier League, Basel and CSKA Moscow in the Champions League and Burton in the League Cup.

United have got off to a 100 per cent start to their league campaign, winning all three games without conceding.

And Mourinho has confirmed every player in his squad will get a start before October.

“The squad is strong, the players are ready to play, the decision to leave people on the bench is hard, the decision to leave people at home is hard,” he said.

“The fact that we now play every three days in the relation to that is good, the players will feel they are all involved.

“By the end of September, every player will play and start matches because it’s the normal movement of the squad, that makes my control of my human resources better, easier, simple but the matches are difficult and we always have the risk of can’t keeping a winning run, which is really difficult to do.”

United travel to Stoke tomorrow seeking to end a run of four league games without a win at the bet365 Stadium.

Earlier today Stoke boss Mark Hughes confirmed Ryan Shawcross will miss the match with a back injury.
