Arsenal transfer news: Jeff Reine-Adelaide set for Nantes loan move

ARSENAL youngster Jeff Reine-Adelaide could join French side Nantes, according to reports.

Chelsea and Arsenal fans chant their hatred for Tottenham

Reine-Adelaide is a highly rated prospect within the Arsenal squad but he’s been unable to break into Arsene Wenger’s starting XI on a regular basis.

Last season the 19-year-old made just six appearances in all competitions and he now appears to be behind Reiss Nelson, who impressed greatly pre-season.

Reine-Adelaide didn’t play for the Gunners first-team during pre-season and may now be sent out on loan to gain more experience.

French newspaper L’Equipe say Reine-Adelaide has been offered to Nantes and they are interested in the possibility of taking the teenager on loan.

Arsenal vice-captain Laurent Koscielny is a big fan of Reine-Adelaide.

And when asked earlier in the summer which youngster he hoped would establish himself in the first-team next season Koscielny told Arsenal Player: “I hope it’s Jeff Reine-Adelaide. He’s a young boy but I think he has a lot of quality.

“He plays some games every season and I think he can improve a lot. He can learn a lot with us.

“He has all the quality and after that it’s in his head to work more and to want to achieve something with this club.

“I hope he will start next season, play a lot and improve with us.”
