Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona: Liverpool want £107m as Barca offer three players in deal

LIVERPOOL will consider selling talisman Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona if they offer a staggering €120million (£107m).

Sublime assist shows why Barcelona want Liverpool's Coutinho

The Reds have already knocked back Barca's opening £72m bid for the Brazilian but are expected to return with an improved offer.

Liverpool are determined to keep hold of their star man and Jurgen Klopp has insisted on several occasions that he won't be sold.

However, Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo claim Liverpool do have a valuation they would consider doing business at - a huge £107m - that would make Coutinho the most expensive player in the world.

The report suggests Coutinho and his agent are working to convince Liverpool to let him leave but the Reds are playing hardball.

Philippe Coutinho is reportedly considering a move to Barcelona

Barca believe the price-tag Liverpool have set has been made to scare them off, but Coutinho and his representative think they would consider selling if an offer of closer to €100m (£89.5m) came in.

The Catalan giants are keen to pay less though and hope by offering the Reds one of their players they would be able to sign Coutinho for a lower fee.

Arda Turan and Denis Suarez are the players Barca will hope to include in the deal with both players up for sale this summer.

Barcelona are keen to offload Arda Turan this summer

The duo struggled for game time under Luis Enrique last season and Ernesto Valverde looks set to cash in on them.

However, Mundo Deportivo say Rafinha would be a likely candidate on Klopp's radar with the Brazilian a big fan of the Reds boss.

But Barca would prefer to keep hold of Rafinha and offload Turan or Suarez if given the chance in negotiations for Coutinho.
