Diego Costa gives the thumbs up in Chelsea training as he prepares to return for Hull

DIEGO COSTA gave the thumbs up in training today ahead of his return to action for Chelsea.

 missed last weekend's win over Leicester after a bust-up with manager Antonio Conte.

The official line was a back injury although it is understood that Costa will not sign a new conract at Chelsea and is likely to leave in the summer

But Conte insists he will be staying put and is in line to return against Hull on Sunday.

"I think he wants to stay with Chelsea," Conte said.

"He is very happy to play with this. 

"His decision is in his mind but he is happy and happy to stay here and play for us.”

Diego Costa was training with his team-mates today

Costa trained on his own on Monday when the rest of the squad had the day off.

But he was back with his team-mates later in the week and is ready to play as Chelsea look to boost their title charge.

"He is available for the game against Hull City," Conte added.

"He started training on Tuesday with the team. he trained very well, he has no pain in his back and is available.

"On Sunday and Monday he started to train and prepare, he has done this well.

"He only trained on his own to get himself ready for Tuesday."
