Manchester United boss Mourinho made nine changes for today's FA Cup clash, with Antonio Valencia, Ander Herrera, Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic all rested. 

The Portuguese boss has a balancing act on his hands with the EFL Cup semi-final against Hull City to come on Tuesday.

And he insists he trusts the players he selected against Reading to go out and deliver a victory.

"Every match is important for us, every match is important for Manchester United," Mourinho told BT Sport.

"You see I change a few players, but I change because I trust these guys.

"If I don’t trust them, if I think I lose the game with the team, I don’t play this team.

"We have a match on Tuesday and we want to go to the final. We are in the semi so I’m going to bring other people for Tuesday because it’s a semi-final."
